This past Friday, May 3, 2013 Party Pleasers had the honor of helping Victoria celebrate her 15th Birthday aka her Quinceañera. Our very own Senior Master DJ – Jeff Clarke acted as her Bi-Lingual DJ/Emcee. The party was held at Receptions in Erlanger and as always the night went great.
Her color was turquoise and we provided some beautiful Drapes and Uplights behind her Court of Honor Table. For those of you that are unfamiliar with a Quinceañera(Click Here). There are lots of traditions with a Quince – A Court of Honor(Group of Friends that she chooses), 1st & 2nd Waltz. The 1st Waltz was with her Father, but the 2nd Waltz was with her Chamberlain and he practiced for six months to get it right.
Her brother, Wiley Carr III, with his friend played the Trumpet introduction for Victoria. However the moment of the night probably had to be the most popular song – “No Rompas Mas Mi Pobre Corazon”, which is the Spanish version of Billy Ray Cyrus’s “Achy Breaky Heart“. One other special moment was that her Grandfather, who came all the way from Mexico, played his guitar and sang “Las Mananitas” to Victoria.
The whole night was captured by Spirit Video Productions and we can’t wait to see it.
