Victoria’s Quinceanera – Una Noche Para Recordar

Jeff Clarke Parties, Quinceañera

This past Friday, May 3, 2013, Party Pleasers had the honor of helping Victoria celebrate her 15th birthday—her Quinceañera. Our very own Senior Master DJ, Jeff Clarke, served as her bilingual DJ and emcee. The celebration took place at Receptions in Erlanger. As expected, the night was full of energy and joy.

Her chosen color was turquoise. We enhanced the atmosphere with beautiful drapes and uplights behind her Court of Honor table. If you’re unfamiliar with a Quinceañera, it’s a celebration rich with traditions. For example, it includes a Court of Honor (a group of close friends she selects), as well as a first and second waltz. The first waltz, traditionally, is danced with her father. Then came the second waltz, performed with her Chamberlain, who practiced for six months to perfect it.

Adding to the emotional highlights, her brother Wiley Carr III and a friend performed a trumpet introduction for Victoria. Yet, the standout moment of the night was undoubtedly the most popular song—“No Rompas Más Mi Pobre Corazón,” the Spanish version of Billy Ray Cyrus’s “Achy Breaky Heart.” Furthermore, her grandfather made the evening more memorable by singing “Las Mañanitas” while playing his guitar. He traveled all the way from Mexico to take part in this special celebration.

The entire evening was documented by Spirit Video Productions, and we’re excited to see how it turned out.
